100 Days of School Celebration

Our afternooners have been counting each day they have spent at MOM since the first day of school. Just a few days ago, they reached the 100th day, which called for a celebration!

Each afternooner brought in 100 pieces of fruit they had cut up and counted with their grown-ups the night before and they made the most delicious fruit salad ever! Altogether, there were 1,200 pieces of fruit, enough to share with our morning and napping friends!

The rest of the day was spent with reflecting on the things our afternooners have learned, practiced, and mastered since they started school, one of them being able to count and quantify all the way to 100!

To celebrate the magic number, the children could choose from multiple works that involved counting to one hundred. What a great way to celebrate reaching this milestone!
